Leh, Mar 17 : Three more people, including a medical staff, have tested positive for coronavirus in the Union Territory of Ladakh, taking the total number of infected cases to six. Restrictions under Section 144 CrPC have been imposed by authorities in the border district of Kargil to prevent spread of coronavirus while similar curbs on assembly of more than four persons would be imposed in Leh as well. 'Three more people have been tested positive for coronavirus in the results which came on Monday,' spokesperson of Ladakh UT Rigzin Sampheal told reporters during a press conference.
He said one case has been recorded from Sangkoo in Kargil district. “Following the development, the Kargil administration has imposed restrictions under section 144 CrPc in the district,” he added.(UNI)
