Pilgrims visiting Sabarimala will be managed by Virtual Queue System

Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 5 : Pilgrims coming to Lord Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala will be managed by Virtual Queue System in view of COVID-19 pandemic, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Friday. Addressing a press conference at the Government Secretariat this evening, the Chief Minister said devotees more than 50 will not be allowed at one time.

"Thermal scanners will be installed at Nilakkal, Pampa and Sannidhanam. Use of mask is mandatory. Gloves and mask will be compulsory for Devaswom employees. Children below the age of 10 years and those above 65 years of age will not be allowed as per central guidelines. Pujaris should not distribute Prasadam," he added. (UNI)
