Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 4 : Nine new places were declared as hotspots in Kerala on Thursday, taking the total to 124, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said. Addressing a press conference at the Government Secretariat this evening, the Chief Minister said that the four places in Kannur District, two in Palakkad district and three in Kollam district were declared as hotspots. At the same time, 13 places were excluded from the list. There are currently 124 hotspots in the State, he added. (UNI)
