Thiruvananthapuram, May 30 : Kerala reported 58 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, while 10 patients have tested negative and total 624 patients are under treatment in various districts, Health Minister KK Shailaja Teacher said. "There are in total 1,30,157 people under observation in various districts of the state.
Of these, 1,28,953 are under home or institutional quarantine and 1,204 are isolated in hospitals. 243 persons were admitted to the hospital today," the Minister said in a press release this evening. "Ten persons from Thrissur district, nine in Palakkad district, eight from Kannur district, four each in Kollam, Idukki, Ernakulam and Kozhikode districts, three from Kasargod district, two each in Thiruvananthapuram and Alappuzha districts, and one from Kottayam district are those who tested positive for the infection," she said.
