Kochi, May 21 : As part of the Vande Bharat Mission to repatriate stranded Indians abroad, three more flights carrying 581 expats landed at the International Airport here.
Airport sources said on Thursday that Two flights of Air India from London and Manila and one Air India Express flight from Dubai carrying the expats landed on Wednesday. Air India London-Kochi flight carrying 186 passengers--- 93 each males and female landed at the Airport. They include nine children below 10 years, 24 pregnant women and three senior citizens. As many as 123 returnees were taken to COVID Care Centres and 63 were placed under home quarantine.
Manila-Mumbai-Kochi flight with 212 passengers and Dubai-Kochi flight with 183 Keralites landed at the Airport. One among the passengers who returned from Dubai yesterday developed symptoms of COVID19. In the medical test, the passenger showed high temperature and was shifted to Kalamassery Medical College from the Airport. Air India Express Doha-Kochi flight, carrying evacuees will land here tonight, the sources said. (UNI)
