Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 15 : The Kerala Government took measures to check 24 border points, and all trains and vehicles crossing the state border in view of Coronovirous scare in the country.
"All trains will be checked at the first stop across the state border. Teams of up to three people will be set up. One team will check the two bogies each. The team will consist of a health worker, police and local volunteer," an official press release said here on Sunday.
"Messages regarding checking and safety measures will be announced to all passengers on the railways. There will also be an announcement facility at the railway station and in as many trains as possible," it added. "24 border points will have checking points across the state. All people crossing border will be examined by a DYSP, a team of health workers and local volunteers," it said. (UNI)
