Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 20: Ambassador of the Netherlands Marten van den Berg on Monday called on Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan at Raj Bhavan."Looking forward to increase collaboration on water, agriculture and port management," the Ambassador said in a message.
Later, the Ambassador called on Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at his office.
In a message, the Chief Minister said "Marten van den Berg visited me in office. We held discussions on the areas where the Netherlands and Kerala are collaborating. We have also decided to set up a joint monitoring mechanism to expedite the efforts."
Thanking the Chief Minister for the meeting, the Ambassador recalled the last year visit to the State and stressed the importance of strengthening collaboration between the Netherlands and Kerala on topics like water, agriculture, sports, heritage." (UNI)
