New Delhi, Nov 22: The Supreme Court on Friday said it is ready to hear in open court the review petitions of flat owners of swish Maradu highrise apartments in Kerala.
Earlier, the apex court had ordered all the flats to be demolished due to violation of CRZ (Coastal Regulation Zone).
A bench, led by Justice Arun Mishra, ruled, "We are ready for open court hearing of the petitions in connection with the Maradu flat owners plea."
Government of Kerala told the Supreme Court that out of Rs 61.5 crore, compensation of Rs 27 crore has been disbursed to the flat owners.
The apex court directed that the remainder should also be given.
Flat owners are to get Rs 25 lakh as compensation. (UNI)
