Kozhikode, Oct. 12 : Kerala Director General of Police (DGP) Loknath Behra on Saturday said that more officers will be attached to the investigating team to inquire the Koodathayi serial murder case, which according to him, the complicated and most challenging one.
The case was that six members of a family at Koodathayi were killed under similar circumstances in a span of 14 years. Jolly, the prime accused in the case, had executed the murder by poisoning all the six by giving cyanide.
The crime branch, investigating the case had arrested the prime accused Jolly and two of her accomplices on October 5.
Talking to the media after visiting the murder spot in Ponnamattam at Koodathayi in Vatakara near here, the DGP said the investigation and gathering of evidence is very challenging as the first murder was committed 17 years ago and the sixth one three years ago.
Each murder will be investigated separetely by the team which will also have more technical hands, Mr Behra said.(UNI)
