Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 26: Due to traffic dislocation between Padil – Kulashekara stations of Palakkad Division, two express and one passenger trains were diverted from Shoranur Junction on Monday.
A release from Thiruvanthapuram Division of Southern Railway (SR) said, Thiruvananthapuram – Lokmanyatilak Netravathi Express to leave on August 26 was diverted via Shoranur–Podanur–Erode–Jolarpettai–Melpakkam–Renigunta–Wadi–Daund–Pune–Lonavala and Kalyan.
The Ernakulam – Hazrat Nizamuddin Mangala Express today will run via Shoranur–Podanur–Erode–Jolapettai–Katpadi–Renigunta–Gudur–Balharsha–Nagpur–Itarsi–Bhopal–Jhansi–Agra and Mathura.
The Kochuveli – Porbandar Passenger Special on August 26, which was earlier announced to run via Shoranur-Mangalore Jn.-Madgaon-Panvel will run via Shoranur–Podanur–Erode–Salem–Katpadi–Melpakkam–Renigunta–Gudur–Wardha–Bhusval–Jalgaon–Udhna and Surat, the release said.(UNI)
