According to relatives who received a message, Muhammad Muhsin of Edappal was killed in a drone attack by the US, reports said.

Mushin's family members were also warned of adverse action if they informed police or any investigation agency, the message said.

National Investigation Agency officials reached Edappal but family members are said to have refused to share the information.

Muhsin is said to have joined IS in late 2017 and was active in the organisation in Khorasan in Afghanistan along with another I commander. Both were killed on July 18.
