Around 45L students to enter new classes in Kerala tomorrow

Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 5: As the new academic year to begin on Thursday, about 45 lakh students are set to enter their classes, after two-months summer vacation in Kerala.
Arrangements are being made for state-level reopening of schools as the occasion is also celebrated as 'Pravesanolsavam' (school enrollment festival), which will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at Chembuchira Govt Higher Secondary School in Thrissur.
As part of the school enrollment festival, three-four lakh tiny tots are expected to enter the world of letters in the State on the occasion, sources said here.
About 45 lakh students from Std 1 to Std 12 will begin their next academic year from tomorrow. (UNI)
