After Sabarimala trek, Bindu and Kanakadurga to return home next week

Kochi: Bindu and Kanakadurga, the two women in menstruating age who trekked to Sabarimala recently, are planning to return to their houses in a week.

After the Sabarimala visit, the two are now in an unidentified destination, following strong protests. The entire State turned into a battleground after their entry against the agitation of Sabarimala Karma Samiti. The duo had also received death threats.

They said they had faith in police and expected to return home next week. The women of Malappuram and Kozhikode reached Sannidhanam on January 2 with police security after a failed attempt earlier. The samiti, with the support of BJP had observed a hartal the next day.
