Upping his ante against the BJP and Sangh Parivar, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said on Monday that the strategy of Sangh Parivar to create communal rift over Sabarimala would not work in the State.
“The same strategy of might have worked in North India. But it will not find success in Kerala. The Government will mercilessly deal with these attempts to create communal riots and violence,” Pinarayi said at a press conference.
“The RSS terror spared none on hartal day. Mediapersons were attacked, party offices vandalised and KSRTC buses attacked. Violence was unleashed against shops which were opened on hartal day,” he said.
