House of young woman takes Sabarimala vow attacked

The house of a young woman who had taken a vow to enter Sabarimala temple attacked by criminals on Wednesday.

Window panes of the house of Aparna Sivakami who hails from Kakkancherry in Malappuram district was broken by the unidentified miscreants.  Aparna Sivakami was there among the three women who conducted a press conference at Kochi a couple of days back to announce publicly their wish to visit Sabarimala.

A four-member bike-borned criminal gang was said to have attacked Aparna’s house with stones. The window glasses on the front part of the house were broken in the attack.

Earlier, Aparna got threat calls from various corners for expressing her wish to visit Sabarimala. Aparna is a young lady under the banned age to visit Sabarimala.

The police have registered a case in connection with the incident.
