Indicating a growing wedge in Association of Malayalam Movie Actors (AMMA), audio messages of actors Baburaj and Jagadish that came out on Tuesday accused Siddique of not being authorised to conduct the press conference on behalf of the oraganisation.

An emergency executive meeting of AMMA will be held on October 19 to discuss the resignation of Dileep, accused in the actor-abduction case, and the WCC press conference.

Mathrubhumi do confirmed the audio messages of Baburaj and Jagadish. Both claimed they spoke with the knowledge of AMMA president Mohanlal. The voice clipping of the actors openly said that if AMMA backed Dileep, they would come out in public against the decision. Jagadeesh said he revealed Mohanlal’s stand.

Claiming that Siddique's press conference was not official, the actors said they would not allow a ‘super body’ inside AMMA to take decision on behalf of the organisation. “Fake news is spreading in Tamil news dailies that Mohanlal is opposing Dileep's ouster from the organisation,” they said.

At Monday's press conference, Siddique supported Dileep. He also took an antagonistic stand on WCC. But just before the press conference, Jagadeesh came out with a statement clarifying the stand that everything would be solved through love.

“If they want to support Dileep they can do that personally and not in the name of AMMA.  Goondaism would not be allowed inside AMMA anymore. We all will stand behind AMMA's president Mohanlal,”said Baburaj and Jagadeesh.
