IIM-K announced on Monday its tie up with the prestigious Stanford University as part of its Executive education programme and Executive Post Graduation programme [EPGP]. IIM-K is the first IIM to collaborate with an Ivy League University in an Executive education programme. Stanford University’s Master class Webinar Series in Design Thinking and Innovation is the area of study that this collaboration will bring in.
The two year EPGP is today the most sought after executive programme in management with 738 contact hours. IIM-K had way back in 2001 initiated the Interactive Learning Programme for working executives in Asia Pacific with 300 contact hours. The EPGP is accredited by the Association of MBAs.
According to the facilities agreed upon with Stanford University, the participants will receive live lectures from the faculty at Stanford and will also receive certificates of participation from them.
Design Thinking and Innovation will introduce the participants to the nature of innovation and creativity. They will also learn to use the design thinking process to promote innovation in their organisation.
The Director of IIM-K Debashis Chatterjee said the institute has been consistently updating curriculum to provide the best to the participants.
