VM Sudheeran resigns from UDF high power committee

Congress leader and former KPCC President V.M. Sudheeran has resigned on Thursday from the United Democratic Front (UDF) high power committee. He informed his decision to KPCC leadership through an e-mail.

Sudheeran had serious differences with KPCC leadership on its to allot the vacant Rajya Sabha seat to Jose K Mani, son of Kerala Congress(M) leader KM Mani. In the e-mail, apart from his decision to resign from UDF High Power committee, Sudheeran has also made it clear that he would not attend the UDF meeting anymore. He sent e-mail on Thursday morning.

Sudheeran did not specify any reason for the resignation. Congress leadership in Kerala did not make any comment on the resignation immediately.

After surrendering Rajya Sabha seat to Kerala Congress (M), there were serious differences in the party on the issue.
