Mangaluru, May 19 : The second Air India flight from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) arrived here at the Mangalore International Airport on Monday evening with 178 stranded Indians as part of operation 'Vande Bharat'.
The first flight with 177 passengers had arrived from UAE on May 12. The passengers after arrival were facilitated with money transfer, remittance services, local SIM cards, food packages and health kits before they were taken for medical examination at the Airport followed by their immigration processes. The passengers were escorted to the quarantine centres by bus. The swab samples of the passengers will be collected and sent for tests. All passengers were instructed to install the Aarogya Setu app. Later they were taken to the city’s hotels and hostels designated for their 14-day quarantine. (UNI)
