Kalaburagi, May 13 : A 60-year-old elderly man died of COVID-19 in the Kalaburagi district on Wednesday, taking the death toll in the district to seven and state toll to 32. According to the Kalaburagi Deputy Commissioner B Sharat, a 60-year man was brought dead to the hospital on May 11. His test results came back positive on Wednesday morning.
Mr Sharat also said that the deceased hexagenerian was the native of ' Momominpura area of Kalaburagi as it is already declared Cantonment area and he was suffering acute respiratory disease, he said. The 'sun city ' Kalaburagi ' which is famous for its intense heat waves like condition in the summer and mercury reached up to 45-degree celsius in Mid-may, nowadays Known for ' Corona hotspot and it seems now turned into ' Corona dead spot ' of Karnataka as seven death reported in the district out of 32 death in the state.
