COVID-19 cases in Karnataka spike to 951

Bengaluru, May 12 : With 26 fresh COVID-19 cases reported on Wednesday, the total number of positive patients in the state has surged to 951, health officials said. The death toll due to the novel coronavirus pandemic in the state rose to 32 when a 60- year-old man succumbed to the disease here today, they informed.

The fresh cases of the SARS-COV-2 were reported from Kalaburagi (02), Hassan (04), Bengaluru urban (01), Uttara Kannada (02), Vijayapura (02), Davanagere (02), and Ballari and Dakshina Kannada districts one each. Ever since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in the state as many as 442 patients have been completely cured and discharged from the hospital. (UNI)
