Bengaluru, May 7 : With detection of 8 more fresh cases of the COVID-19 infection, the total number of persons contracted for the disease, including the death of 30 patients, in Karnataka surged to 710 on Thursday.
According to official sources, three more fresh cases of COVID-19 were reported from Davanagere and Kalaburagi, followed by one each case at Belgavi and Bengaluru Urban district. The death toll due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Karnataka rose to 30 when a 55-year-old woman succumbed to the disease in Davanagere district today. Among the 8 fresh cases, which reported on Thursday, included five women, the sources said. The number of patients, who had been completely cured since the onset of the COVID-19 and sent to hospitals rose to 363, the sources added. (UNI)
