Britain Law Min lauds K'taka CM for steps taken to contain coronavirus

Bengaluru, Apr 27: Britain Law Minister Robert Buckland has appreciated the steps taken by the Karnataka Government in containing the spread of the Pandemic in rural areas.

According to official sources here on Monday, Mr Yediyurappa explained the steps taken to enforce lockdown in the state during a video conference on Sunday.

He also explained the slow and strategic lifting of the lockdown depending upon the situation.

Mr Sharavana Gurumurthy, a Kannadiga living in Britain, appealed to the Chief Minister during the video conference, to come to the rescue of students studying in UK who have taken a huge loan from banks. In reply, Mr Yediyurappa assured him that he will hold a meeting with Banks and see whether EMIs to be paid by the students can be re-structured.(UNI)
