COVID-19: One more person tests positive, total number rises to 22 in K'taka

Mangaluru, Mar 22: With one more person tested positive for coronavirus, the total number of such cases rose to 22 in Karnatak, District Commissioner SindhuRoopesh said on Sunday. "The 22-year-old patient hailing from Bhatkal, who had returned to Mangaluru on March 19, was tested positive for COVID-19, making it the first case in Dakshina Kannada," informed Sindhu.

"He is currently undergoing treatment at Wenlock hospital’s isolation ward," the DC informed. Earlier in the day, one fresh coronavirus cases had been reported from Dharwad and the patient is being treated. So far, 22 COVID-19 positive cases have been confirmed in the state which includes one death. (UNI)
