He further added that it would be on him to make sure that no minority in Karnataka was affected by the Act.
'The CAA brought in by the Central Government will not affect any Muslim in this country. Moreover, in Karnataka I will be responsible if any Muslim, in any capacity is affected by the implementation of the Act' Mr Yediyurappa said while speaking at Haj Bhavan in the city on Friday night .
Addressing the Haj pilgrims, the CM asserted that people were creating hype about the CAA and there was nothing about it to be bothered of.
'They are simply creating hype against CAA. You don’t need to be bothered about anything. Go on your pilgrimage and pray for the peace and harmony in the state', Mr Yediyurappa added. (UNI)
