Mysuru, Jan 11: The girl, who displayed 'Free Kashmir' poster during a protest at the University of Mysore campus recently, tendered an apology through a self-made video but said that her intention was not to spread hatred but highlight internet curb in the region.
"I had no intention of creating any hatred but wanted to bring the issue of internet shut down in Jammu and Kashmir," she said in her video.
"I don't belong to any organisation and ready to cooperate with the police in their investigation. I am sorry for creating confusion," she added.
In the incident took place in the protest by the students of University of Mysuru on Manasagangothri campus against the violence at JNU in New Delhi.
After the incident, police booked a case of sedition against the organisers of the protest. (UNI)
