New Delhi, Nov 17: The Congress party on Saturday released its second list of six candidates for assembly bypolls in Karnataka.
According to AICC General secretary Mukul Wasnik, the Congress president Sonia Gandhi 'released the names of candidates for bypolls in six assembly seats. The Congress also announced its candidature for biennial election to Legislative council of Karnataka from Bangalore Teachers constituency.
The party also named its candidate for two assembly seats in Jharkhand. Bypolls will be held for 15 assembly seats in Karnataka on December 5. The BJP needs to win a minimum of six seats to stay in power. Out of the 15 constituencies, 12 are held by the Congress and three by the JD(S). (UNI)
