Bengaluru, Oct 12 : Both the Houses of the Karnataka Legislature were on Saturday adjourned sine die after a three-day session.
During the short session, both Houses passed the Annual budget. Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa opted to move, without any change, the budget prepared by previous Indian National Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition government.
Not yielding to Opposition demand for an extension of the session by 15 days to discuss important issues, among others, alleged failure of the Bharatiya Janata Party government to tackle the flood situation, Assembly Speaker Vishwanath Hegde Kageri announced adjournment of the House sine die.(UNI)
