An apparently emotional HD Kumaraswamy in his speech, dubbed as his last speech as a Chief Minister of JD(S)-Congress alliance, has said that he is not a traitor.

As his speech may be capping the trust vote debate, Kumaraswamy’s speech was full of emotional expressions which also show the indications of his government’s imminent downfall.

“I am not a traitor. I am not opposing the trust vote and I have no intention to drag trust vote. From the day one the government has called unstable,” said Kumaraswamy.

Showing sign of going for a trust vote, Kumaraswamy said: “I am ready to quit from the post of CM. No intention to drag trust vote. I am not going to run away from the trust vote. I have never cheated anybody and worked honestly”.

At one point he did not forget to give a piece of advice to BJP’s Yeddyurappa: “These rebels will betray BJP too”. He also suggested that he was ready for a division of vote.
