In view of the political development of the state, the Bengaluru police have imposed 144 in the city till Wednesday.

Close on the heels of a clash erupted between Congress and BJP workers at Race Course Road, Bengaluru Police announced the 144. All pubs and Wine shops will be closed till 25 July. Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) prohibits the assembly of five or more people at one spot.
