Congress will get most MLAs on board in confidence vote, says Siddaramaiah

Karnataka Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Siddharamaiah has said that the Congress will get most of the MLAs when the vote of confidence is moved.

Meanwhile, one rebel Congress MLA MTB Nagaraj backtracked on his earlier decision after holding conciliatory talks with DK Shivakumar on Saturday. Congress MLA MTB Nagaraj said that though he gave his resignation, he has decided to stay in the party, and will convince K Sudhakar, who had earlier left the party, to rejoin.

Congress national leaders such as Kamal Nath and Ghulab Nabi Azad are currently camping in Bengaluru to do all parleys to salvage the Congress-JD(S) coalition government from a downfall.
