IMA Fraud: SIT intensifying its investigation

Bengaluru, June 27: Special Investigation Team constituted to inquire into multi-crore IMA Fraud have seized more that Rs One crore worth articles including daily articles, household articles and cash during raid conducted on super market and central warehouse owned by kingpin Mohammed Mansoor Ali Khan in the city today.

According to a Police press release here on Thursday, while Rs 45 lakh worth house hold articles and daily articles were seized during a raid conducted on Malberi Green Super Market, Rs 68 lakhs worth daily articles, Cash Rs 41,000 and Computers were seized from Malberi Green at M S Palya, Rs 15 lakhs worth articles including Medicines and Beauty enhancing articles were seized from Front Line Central Wearhouse.

The teams were led by Joint Police Commissioner Ravikante Gowda and DCP Girish.
The questioning of 12 Directors arrested is continuing, even as the main culprit Mohammed Mansoor Khan is yet to be arrested. (UNI)
