Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka, June 25: Karnataka Forest squad has nabbed two hunters on charges of killing Spotted Deers in Halasur Reserved Forest area in Balehonnur in the District.
Forest sources said on Tuesday that the arrested were identified as Vinayak and Sudarshan. Two other culprits including Nagesh and Ganesh are absconding.
On getting definite information the officials raided their hideout and seized two country made rifles used for the crime, Deer Skin and utilnsils used for cooking the Deer meat.
RFO Koppa region Vijaya Kumar, DRFO Madhu, Balehonnur division Manjunath, Guru Prasad, Taranayak, Diwakar and other forest personal were part of the team that raided. (UNI)
