Koppal, Karnataka, June 8 : Opposition Leader in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly B S Yeddyurappa, who is also BJP State President, today reiterated his allegation that Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has taken money to allot land at throw away price to JSW in Bellari.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, he said that Jindal Steel Works (JSW) company has already been allotted sufficient land for mining on 2007 and it is not necessary to give additional land to it. " The cabinet has taken decision to sell 3,667 acres of land to JSW. BJP is against the Cabinet decision and after holding a meeting with party Legislators a decision will be taken to launch a statewide agitation. I am going to force the Chief Minister to withdraw that order immediately because the value of the land is more than Rs 1,000 crore and cannot be sold at throw away price".
Yeddyurappa also said that his party will start Statewide agitation against apathy shown by the Coalition government towards farmers reeling under drought condition, farmers loan wave off and JSW issues.
On proposed Cabinet expansion by Kumaraswamy, he said that " it will lead to further deepen disgruntlness among Congress and JDS MLAs if Indeplendent MLAs were inducted". (UNI)
