Bengaluru, May 15: Police nabbed two robbers who had looted ATMs under the guise of repairing it and recovered from them stolen Rs 95 lakhs cash in the city.
The arrested were identified as Kishore Kumar and Rakesh, the latter working as custodian in Secure Value company which had contract for filling and maintaining ATMs of various banks.
On May 1, he along with his friend Kishore Kumar, under the guise of repairing an ATM entered the one of ICICI Bank on Longford Road, Shantinagar, in the City and robbed Rs 47,83,000 and then decamped with Rs 51,30,000 from RBL ATM on Residency Road also in the city.
Following complaints from bank heads, a special team was formed and the duo nabbed.Audugodi police have registered a case and investigating. (UNI)
