Kalaburagi, Apr 6 : Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Senior BJP leader Jagadish Shettar on Saturday said that Congress-JDS Coalition government in the State may collapse on its own after the Lok Sabha Elections.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Shettar said that " this 'Kichidi' government may not be in the political map after the BJP government retains power at the Centre after the general elections. Either Siddaramaiah will withdraw Congress support to this government or Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy himself tenders resignation expressing inability to withstand the torture by Congress leaders."
Stating that there is remote chance of survival of the Coalition Government in the State after the Lok Sabha elections, Shettar clarified that "BJP will not indulge in pulling this government as it will fall on its own as difference of opinion among the both Congress and JDS Ministers and leaders are deepening day by day. BJP will form the Government and it will be headed by B S Yeddyurappa as Chief Minister". (UNI)
