Belagavi, Mar, 10: NDA headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will win more than three Hundred seats in the forthcoming Lok sabha election, State BJP state president and former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa, opined here on Sunday.
Speaking to newsmen here, he said that Congress Party president Rahul Gandhi was day dreaming to become the prime minister, Congress may improve its tally from 40 to 67. BJP will retain power winning over 300 seats and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will again become Prime Minister, he said.
Ridiculing the Congress president, who had aired doubt over the impact of the Air strike carried out by the defence forces at Balakot, he said that "It is unfair on the part of Gandhi to ask such questions". Home minister Rajnath Singh, have already clarified over the incident, Yeddyurappa said. "It is noteworthy to know that our Forces went inside the Pakistan soil and hit the targets of terrorists only without any civilian casualties" he said.
Referring to PWD minister H D Revanna's outburst against Sumalatha Ambharish, he said that "One should not speak light on any Woman". In democracy everybody enjoy equal rights to contest any elections, and Revanna should aware of this before making any statement, the BJP leader said.
Maintaining that Ambharish, who had passed away recently, has done his best for the upliftment of the people of the Mandya district, who had elected him multiple times. Ambharish had also done well as the Housing minister, the BJP leader said.
Replying to questions, on extending support to Sumalatha in the Lok Sabha elections he said that "Nobody had approached us, and we have also not taken any decision to support Sumaltha so far" he said.UNI
