Bengaluru, Feb 8: The Opposition Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in Karnataka was thoroughly exposed, over the alleged attempt to wean away the ruling party MLAs to its side, by making lucrative offers, when Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy, presented an Audio clippings of conversing with a son of a JD(S) MLA, Naganagouda Patil, here on Friday.
Addressing a press conference here Mr Kumaraswamy charged that Opposition leader in the Legislative Assembly
B S Yeddyurappa, who is also BJP State President, with the blessing of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President Amit Shaw, was indulged in immoral act of luring the Ruling party MLAs into the BJP fold, said that “the BJP leaders while making the offer, even had claimed that the Assembly Speaker also had been booked”.
Criticising Mr Modi projecting himself as a messiah against corruption, Mr Kumaraswamy appealed to the Opposition members in the Lok Sabha to raise the issue of the ‘audio clipping’ and expose the BJP leader’s dual role being played in the politics to remain in power. (UNI)
