Mumbai has become the centre of the BJP plan to topple the Congress-JD(S) government in Karnataka by poaching Congress MLAs. On Wednesday, some Media cameramen could be able to capture the photographs of a couple of Congress MLAs inside a Mumbai Luxury hotel.

Unconfirmed reports said that there five Congress MLAs- Nagendra B, Bheema Naik, Kampli Ganesh, Anand Singh and Patap Gouda and an independent R Shankar have been staying in a luxury hotel at Powai in Mumbai since a couple of days. Out of this one MLA, Bheema Naik returned to Karnataka on Wednesday. The Congress legislators who were denied a cabinet berth during the recent cabinet expansion and those dropped from the cabinet are said to be leaning towards the saffron party.

Name of the luxury hotel where the Karnataka Congress MLAs are staying in hide, has been revealed as ITC Renaissance at Powai where daily room rent comes around Rs.14,400. It is said that the Operation Lotus, the BJP plan to topple Congress-JD(S) government, was coordinated by Maharashtra state PWD Minister Chandrakant Patil. But the secret plan of BJP came out public after media got the evidences as photographs.

Meanwhile, there are rumours that former Karnataka Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, brother of North Karnataka Congress leader Satish Jarkiholi, is camping in Delhi accompanied by two MLAs Mahesh Kumatahalli and Umesh Jadhav.
