BJP leaders are indulged in ‘horse trading’ to topple Coalition Government: D K Shivakumar

Bengaluru, Jan 13: Senior Congress leader and the Water Resources Minister, D K Shivakumar, charged here today that BJP leaders are indulged in a large scale ‘horse trading’ and luring the Congress MLAs to destablise the Coalition government.

Speaking to newsmen here on Sunday, the Minister said that “We have all the information about the discreet efforts being made by the State as well as Central BJP leaders to topple the government”.

Maintaining that the BJP leaders, had arranged travel as well as stay of three Congress MLAs in Mumbai recently and also the efforts put up by the Saffron party leaders in enticing our party MLAs, he said that “all such moves are being watched by our leaders”.

“I have already alerted the discreet moves made by the BJP leaders in wooing our MLAs, to Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and the Co-ordination committee Chairman, Siddaramaiah” he said.

“We will come out with all proofs and documents, about the ‘horse trading’ activities being made by the BJP leaders soon and made it public” Shivkumar added.

To supplement the state BJP leaders claim to bring change in the state politics after Sankranti day, several meetings took place both at Mumbai and New Delhi, the Congress leader said. (UNI)
