Police nab Kidnappers within 24 hours of abducting a Fruit Merchant of Kerala

Mysuru, Oct 2: Police have solved a case of kidnap of a fruit merchant from Kerala within 24 hours of the incident.

Police said on Tuesday that Zubair, a fruit merchant of Talachery in Kerala, was going to Bengaluru in his car to buy fruits along with driver and assistant. A team of kidnappers stopped the vehicle at Karnakuppe Gate on Hunsur-Virajpet Road in the early hours on Tuesday and made his driver and assistant to get down forcefully and drove away with the merchant.

Zubair’s driver immediately filed a complaint at Hunsur Circle Police Station and the police immediately swing into action and arrested seven people hailing from Mangaluru and rescued Zubair. The police seized a Mahindra XUV 500 vehicle used for the kidnap. (UNI)
