Bokaro, May 22 : Five people, including four CISF personnel, tested positive for the novel coronavirus here on Friday, thus pushing the state's tally to 308. Bokaro Civil Surgeon Ashok Kumar Pathak said that PMCH Dhanbad confirmed the cases late last night.
"Out of these 5, four are jawans of CISF while another is a person hailing from Telo village of Chandrapura block," he said, adding, "With this, the district tally has increased to 15." Officials said that the Telo village patient had returned from Mumbai on May 13 whereas the CISF jawans were living in Sector 11 in quarantine. Earlier the district had reported a total of 10 cases out of which nine were cured and one succumbed to the virus. (UNI)
