Ranchi, May 17 : A total of 11 Coronavirus patients were released on Sunday from CCL Gandhinagar Hospital, Ranchi after they all recovered from the illness. A statement issued by Central Coalfields Ltd (CCL) said that Gandhinagar Hospital is left with only one Covid patient, who is undergoing treatment under the supervision of the doctors. The local administration had selected CCL Gandhinagar Hospital for treatment of Covid-19 patients in the state capital and it became the first hospital of Coal India to treat such infected persons.
CMD of CCL Gopal Singh acknowledged the efforts of the frontline Covid warriors who are working relentlessly to combat this pandemic. He expressed gratitude towards all the doctors, paramedical personnel, sanitary employees and all the other employees for their exemplary contribution to the nation. He stated that all the guidelines announced by the government are being observed at the hospital.
He expressed his gratitude to the state government for their continuous support. He reiterated that CCL has always fulfilled its responsibility towards the society. In this challenging period of Corona pandemic, the company has undertaken numerous measures including distribution of food grains, masks, sanitizers for the welfare of the people, he added. (UNI)
