VVIPs including Governor, Hemant and Dhoni turn up to cast their votes

Ranchi, Dec 12: The third phase of the elections currently on in the state on 17 seats saw VVIPs and VIPs turning up at their respective polling booths and cast their votes in the biggest festival of democracy.

Jharkhand Governor Drauapadi Murmu was among the early voters who turned up at the model polling booth at ATI and cast her vote. Leader of Opposition and JMM's acting president Hemant Soren alongwith his wife Kalpana Soren cast their votes at the polling booth located at St Francis School.

Former Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni alongwith his family turned at the polling booth at JVM Shyamali and cast his vote. Former Union Minister Subodhkant Sahai, Urban Development Minister CP Singh alongwith candidates of party on different seats also cast their votes.

AJSU supremo Sudesh Kumar Mahto alongwith his wife Neha Mehta cast their votes at Silli while party's Giridih MP Chandraprakash Chowdhary alongwith his wife Sunita Chowdhary cast their votes in Ramgarh.

On the other hand in Hazaribagh, former Union Ministers Yashwant Sinha and his son and sitting Hazaribagh MP Jayant Sinha also cast their votes. Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth, Rajya Sabha MP Mahesh Poddar, Chief Secretary DK Tiwari and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal also turned up at their nearest polling booth and exercised their franchise.
