Amit Shah to flag off ‘Johar Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ in Jharkhand

New Delhi, Sep 18 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah will launch the 'Johar Jan Ashirwad Yatra' from Jamtara in poll-bound Jharkhand on Wednesday.

The yatra will start at 11.30 am from Kali Mandir Maidan, Jamtara (Jharkhand). Chief Minister Raghubar Das will also be present.

The 'Johar Jan Ashirwad Yatra' was earlier scheduled to begin on September 15, but later it was shifted to September 18. Mr Das will cover a distance of 581 km during the seven-day 'Johar Jan Ashirwad Yatra'. During this time, he will address several public meetings. The mineral-rich state will be going to Assembly polls later this year.

A couple of days back, Jharkhand BJP election in-charge Om Prakash Mathur and co in-charge Nand Kishore Yadav had flagged off the Johar Jan Ashirwad Yatra Rath on Friday. The chariot will move across the State spreading achievements of four and half year Raghubar Das Government. Flagging the Rath, Mathur said, “The Rath will spread the work and achievements of State Government. Development is main motto of this BJP Government and the BJP Government is committed for development of State.”

Also speaking on the occasion, State BJP election co in-charge and Bihar road construction minister, Nand Kishore Yadav said that in democracy Janta is Janardan (People is God) and through this Johar Jan Ashirwad Yatra, BJP will reach to people at every village, lanes/by lanes, Ghar Ghar highlighting the achievements of five year Raghubar Das Government. Yadav claimed that the BJP is confident that the parry will attain the target of 65 plus seats in year-end Assembly election. The BJP riding on Modi wave in general elections won 12 out of 14 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand. UNI
