BJP leading on 11 Lok Sabha seats of Jharkhand

Ranchi, May 23 : BJP's surge similar to that of other parts of the country is being also witnessed in the state as the party along with its ally AJSU has taken a massive lead of more than 2 lakh votes in Jamshedpur, Koderma and Palamu seats while on five other seats it was leading by more than one lakh votes.

As per the trends which are so far available for the 14 seats of Jharkhand the NDA was leading on 11 seats while Congress was holding on to three seats in the state all of which are located in the South Chottanagpur area including Khunti, Lohardaga and Chaibasa. BJP candidate Sunil Kumar Singh was leading by a margin of 1,37,943 votes against his nearest rival Manoj Kumar Yadav of the Congress on Chatra seat.

PN Singh of the BJP was leading in Dhanbad by a margin of 1,42,259 votes against his nearest rival Kriti Azad Jha of the Congress. In Dumka Sunil Soren of the BJP was ahead by a margin of 18,562 votes against Shibu Soren of the JMM. In Giridih Chandraprakash Chowdhary of the AJSU party was ahead by a margin of 1,67,833 votes against his nearest rival Jagarnath Mahto of the JMM while in Godda Nishikant Dubey of the BJP was ahead by 27,227 votes against Pradeep Yadav of the JVM(P).

In Hazaribagh Jayant Sinha of the BJP was leading by 1,89,442 votes against Gopal Prasad Sahu of the Congress. In Jamshedpur Vidyut Baran Mahto of the BJP was leading by 2,10,801 votes against Champai Soren of the JMM. In Khunti Kalicharan Munda of the Congress was back in lead as he was leading by a margin of 3735 votes against his nearest rival Arjun Munda of the BJP.

In Koderma Annapurna Devi of the BJP was ahead against Babulal Marandi of the JVM(P) by a margin of 2,88,069 votes and in Lohardaga Sukhdeo Bhagat of the Congress is back in lead by a margin of 3,525 votes against Sudarshan Bhagat of the BJP.

In Palamu VD Ram of the BJP was ahead by a margin of 2,11,816 votes against his nearest rival Ghuran Ram of the RJD while in Rajmahal Hemlal Murmu of the BJP was back in the lead by a margin of 3,344 votes against Vijay Hansda of the JMM.In Ranchi Sanjay Seth of the BJP was leading by a margin of 1,98,847 votes against his nearest rival Subodhkant Sahai of the Congress.In Singhbhum Geeta Koda of the Congress was ahead by 60,215 votes against her nearest rival Laxman Giluwa of the BJP.
