31.25 pc average voter turnout in first four hours of voting in Jharkhand

Ranchi, May 12 : An average voter turnout of 31.25 per cent was recorded till 11am on four Lok Sabha seats of Jharkhand where voting is currently on in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections.

Constituency wise Giridih has witnessed a voter turnout of 34.43 per cent, Dhanbad 29.03 per cent, Jamshedpur 29.33 per cent and Singhbhum 33.34 per cent. Voting on these seats will continue till 4pm.

Among the prominent voters Chief Minister Raghubar Das along with his family members cast his vote at booth number 21 located at Bhalubasa Harijan school in Jamshedpur.
