Ranchi, Nov 22: Justice Sujeet Naryan Prasad today took oath as the judge of the Jharkhand High Court.
In a function held at the white hall, Chief Justice Anirudh Bose administered him the oath of office and secrecy.
Justice Prasad has been transferred from Odisha High Court to the Jharkhand High court and the notification in this regard was issued Union Law Ministry on November 8.
After the oath of justice Sujeet Narayan Prasad the number of judges in the Jharkhand High Court has increased up to 19 against a total of 25 approved posts.
Justice Prasad in 2014 had become an additional judge in Jharkhand High Court and was transferred to the Odisha High Court in the year 2016. (UNI)
