Anirudh Bose takes oath as new Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court

Ranchi, Aug 11: Justice Anirudh Bose today took oath as the new Chief Justice of Jharkhand.

In a function held at the Birsa Mandap of the Rajbhawan here Governor Draupadi Murmu administered the oath to justice Bose.

Those present during the function included Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Dinesh Oraon, Leader of Opposition Hemant Soren, cabinet ministers Saryu Rai and Ramchandra Chandravanshi, former Chief Minister Arjun Munda, other judges of the Jharkhand High Court, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of the various other departments along with DGP and senior police officials.

Justice Bose who took oath as the 12th Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court was born in Kolkata on April 1959. In January 19, 2004 he was appointed the judge of the Kolkata High Court. (UNI)
