Srinagar, Mar 3: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has summoned a woman from south Kashmir district of Pulwama for questioning for her alleged involvement in harboring militants.
Official sources said that the woman, Insha, a resident of Hakripora in Pulwama, was summoned by NIA for questioning.
'She has been summoned for her alleged involvement in providing logistic and shelter to militants,' they said.
However, they said it was not immediately clear if she has been summoned to Delhi or will be quizzed in Srinagar.
The NIA has intensified its activities since early this year in terror funding cases and a case involving Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Davinder Singh, who was caught while transporting two Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militants out of the valley.
The national agency has so far conducted several dozen raids across Kashmir valley and confiscated incriminating materials. (UNI)
